About Us
Uplifters is a skill based edtech startup that aims to uplift India's students from tier 2 and tier 3 cities and colleges by providing them with the right skills and training and helping them land a good job.
At Uplifters, we have mentors who are alumni of IIT, NIT, BITS, DTU and other renowned colleges and are working in top MNCs. We are developing a learning ecosystem of various tech and non tech courses for the students.
What Problem are we solving
Every year, more than a million IT graduates in India are unable to find decent jobs, despite the fact that thousands of companies are experiencing difficulty in filling vacancies with suitable candidates. This is happening because.
- Lack of IT education and training that is both reasonably priced and of high quality
- Students at tier 2 and tier 3 institutions have fewer opportunities for employment since employers didn't conduct recruiting processes there.
- No suitable mentoring and advice for career development.
- Without any formal training, new hires are not industry ready to work immediately in the firms, so companies spend a lot of time & money on their training.
Our approach to Solve it
We strive to close this gap by providing an incredibly relevant and demanding methodology that offers top-tier job chances to students at tier 2 and tier 3 institutions. We will provide education at the most affordable rates and teach students in "hinglish", which they find comfortable. By properly preparing students through our courses, industry training, and mentorships, we will increase their chances of placement. Larger firms and startups would be able to save money on training costs by hiring the right personnel at different organizational levels since our students will be job-ready.
